Pick-up/Postage FAQ's

At Second Drawer Down, we offer two shipping options to suit different needs, including our bulk ship option at the end of each month, designed to help you save on postage while reducing packaging waste.

What is bulk shipping?

Instead of posting your items individually as you buy them, we’ll hold them safely for you throughout the month and ship everything together in one bundle at the end.

Why choose it?

• You save on multiple postage fees
• It reduces packaging + emissions
• It gives you time to browse, bundle and build your order
  

How it works:

• Select "Bulk Ship" at checkout
• We’ll store your purchases securely
• Orders are dispatched in one parcel during the last week of each month
• We will invoice you for the total cost for shipping your bundle (this will be calculated on either weight or satchel size of your items) and once paid for we will send you your tracking information.
  

If you need your order sooner, no worries, just select standard shipping at checkout for $12.95 flat-rate Australia-wide.

 

Batch Pick-Up & Local Pickup/Delivery

We love making life easier for local families, whether you’re clearing out cupboards or collecting beautiful finds! Here’s how our flexible local pick-up and delivery options work:

Batch Pickup (For Consignors)

Got a full bag of quality items to consign? We offer organised batch pick-ups for local consignors.

✔️ We’ll arrange a time that suits you
✔️ Leave your labelled bag on the doorstep
✔️ We’ll collect, sort, list & sell and you get paid when your items find a new home

📍 Available in Temora, Cootamundra and surrounding areas. 

 

Batch Pick-Up (For Local Shoppers)

Placed a few orders over the month? No worries!
Choose batch pick-up and we’ll hold your purchases to collect together, perfect for locals who like to bundle and save.

✔️ Orders are grouped for monthly pick-up (or sooner by arrangement)
✔️ No extra postage or multiple trips
✔️ We’ll message you when it’s ready, or you message us.

Local Pickup or Home Delivery

Need something quickly? You can also choose:

✔️ Local Pick-up – Free from our Temora pickup point
✔️ Local Delivery – To your door for a small flat fee
